Carlos has more than 10 years’ experience in the tax area. He has a law degree from the Universidade do Estado de São Paulo (UNESP) and a postgraduate degree in Tax Planning from the Faculdade Brasileira de Tributação (FBT). He has held management positions in the tax area of large multinational consulting firms, serving the main players in the agribusiness market for several years. At Simões Pires since 2022, he is currently director of the technical advisory area, with national operations, responsible for multidisciplinary deliveries in highly complex cases involving tax planning projects, tax recovery, preparation of legal opinions and opinions, among others. He works in a wide range of industrial, commercial and service sectors, combining knowledge of law, technology and accounting.
